Outside-In, 2004. Gate P, Potsdamer Platz, Berlin.
Three site-specific growing Ziggarat Ramps have been constructed within the gallery space at Gate P. The installation brings a tactility and sense of nature to the indoor space. The installation relates to a concept for a large outdoor commission of 9 Ziggarats Ramps sited in a lake at a Business Park, adjacent to the future Berlin International airport, in Schonefeld, Germany. The artwork will be viewed from the air as a bold marker, and experienced more intimately along the incorporated walking paths around the sculptures in the Business Park.
Commissioned by Gate P, Gabriele Tergit Promenade, Potsdamer Platz, Berlin
